How we use your personal information
We process your personal information on one or more of the following legal bases under Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): performance of the contract we have entered into with you (Art. 6(1)(b)), compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), the consent you have given for specific purposes such as marketing (Art. 6(1)(a)), and the legitimate interest of AISTROWISE in keeping the Services secure and preventing fraud (Art. 6(1)(f)), provided that this interest does not override your rights and freedoms.
Depending on how you interact with us or which Services you use, we may use your personal information for the following purposes:
- Providing, personalizing, and improving the Services. We use your personal information to provide the Services to you. This includes performing our contract with you, processing your payments, managing your orders, remembering your preferences and the items you are interested in, and sending you notifications related to your account. It also includes processing purchases, returns, exchanges, or other transactions, creating, maintaining, and managing your account, arranging shipping, facilitating returns and exchanges, enabling you to post reviews, and offering you a personalized shopping experience, such as recommending products related to your purchases. This may include using your personal information to personalize and improve the Services.
- Marketing and advertising. We use your personal information for marketing and promotional purposes, such as sending you marketing, advertising, and promotional communications by email, text message, or postal mail, and showing you online ads for products or services on the Services or on other websites, including based on items you have previously purchased or added to your cart or other activity on the Services.
- Security and fraud prevention. We use your personal information to authenticate your account, provide a secure shopping and payment experience, detect, investigate, or take action regarding possible fraudulent, illegal, unsafe, or malicious activity, protect public safety, and keep our services secure. If you choose to use the Services and register an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. We strongly recommend that you do not share your username, password, or other information with anyone.
- Communications with you. We use your personal information to provide you with customer support, respond to your requests, provide services to you effectively, and maintain our business relationship with you.

We use your personal information to comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal process, including requests from law enforcement or government authorities, to investigate or participate in civil discovery, potential or actual litigation, or other adversarial legal proceedings, and to enforce or investigate potential violations of our terms or policies.
How we disclose personal information
In certain circumstances, we may disclose your personal information to third parties for legitimate reasons, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. These circumstances may include:
- Data processors acting on our behalf under Article 28 of the GDPR, including, principally: Shopify Inc. (store hosting and order processing, US), GoAffPro (Ambassador Program management, India), Klaviyo Inc. (email marketing and CRM automation, US), payment gateways (PayPal, Mercado Pago, and Stripe through Shopify Payments, depending on the payment method you choose), and text-generation technology providers used to generate reports (Google Cloud Platform for the Gemini models and Anthropic for the Claude models, both in the US). Some of these processors are located outside the European Economic Area (US, India). International transfers are carried out under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission or other appropriate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR.
- With business and marketing partners, to provide marketing services and show you advertising. For example, we use Shopify to support personalized advertising through third-party services, based on your online activity with different merchants and websites. Our business and marketing partners will use your information in accordance with their own privacy notices. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to tell us not to share information about you for personalized advertising and marketing based on your online activity with different merchants and websites.
- When you direct or ask us to disclose certain information to third parties, or otherwise consent to that disclosure, for example, to ship products to you or through your use of social media widgets or login integrations.
- With our affiliates or otherwise within our corporate group.
- In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger or insolvency proceedings, to comply with applicable legal obligations (including responding to subpoenas, search warrants, or other similar requests), to enforce the applicable Terms of Service or policies, and to protect or defend the Services, our rights, and the rights of our users or others.
- Astrological data for report generation: to generate personalized reports and horoscopes, we share only the data that is strictly necessary (date, time, and place of birth, with no personal contact details) with our text-generation technology providers: Google Cloud Platform (Gemini models) and Anthropic (Claude models), both based in the US. The astronomical calculation is performed with the Swiss Ephemeris library on our own infrastructure. These providers process the information to create the content of the digital product you receive. Under the data processing agreements we have signed with them, they do not store it for any other purpose.
Relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted on Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve the Services for you. To provide and improve the Services, the information you submit to the Services will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify and with third parties that may be located in countries other than your own. In addition, to help protect, grow, and improve our business, we use certain advanced Shopify features that incorporate data and information obtained from your interactions with our store, with other merchants, and with the Shopify platform itself. To provide these advanced features, Shopify may use personal information collected about your interactions with our store, with other merchants, and with the Shopify platform itself. In these circumstances, Shopify is responsible for the processing of your personal information, including responding to your requests to exercise your rights over the use of that information for those purposes. To learn more about how Shopify uses your personal information and about any rights you may have, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy. Depending on where you live, you may exercise certain rights regarding your personal information through Shopify's privacy portal.
Third-party websites and links
The Services may include links to websites or other online platforms operated by third parties. If you follow links to sites that are not affiliated with or controlled by us, we recommend that you review their privacy and security policies and their other terms and conditions. We do not guarantee, and are not responsible for, the privacy or security of those sites, including the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the information they contain. Information you provide in public or semi-public spaces, including information you share on third-party social media platforms, may also be visible to other users of the Services and to users of those third-party platforms, with no limitations on its use by us or by third parties. The inclusion of such links does not, by itself, imply any endorsement of the content on those platforms or of their owners or operators, unless expressly stated in the Services themselves.
Children's data
The Services are not intended for use by minors, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone who is a minor under the applicable law in your jurisdiction. If you are the parent or legal guardian of a minor who has provided us with their personal information, you may contact us using the details below to request its deletion. As of the effective date of this Privacy Policy, we have no actual knowledge that we “share” or “sell” (as those terms are defined in applicable law) the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
Ambassador Program data
If you sign up as an Ambassador in our Ambassador Program (learn more at aistrowise.com/pages/ambassadors), we will also process your identification, contact, tax, and payment data to manage your contractual relationship as an Ambassador, in accordance with the Program Terms you accept when you enroll. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, in particular tax and commercial obligations). The processor for this specific use case is GoAffPro, which hosts the Ambassador dashboard and processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). To exercise any of your rights in connection with the Program, you can write to privacy@aistrowise.com or ambassadors@aistrowise.com.
